Derek Holland again showed what he is going to be in the future as he threw a 3 hit
complete game shut out against the Angels. He flirted with a
no-hitter through 5 and 2/3 innings before giving up a single up the middle. That was all he gave up was singles. He
struck out 8 batters and only through 96 pitches. This was the second time in 3 games Holland has show this dominance as he threw 8 and 2/3 innings with 10 strike outs 2 games ago. He is going to be the ace of this staff one day. And he will be the true meaning of ace.
